I am have been dating a guy for a couple of weeks already and we agreed to have sex at this end of this week?

Things are great with him and I'm really looking forward to our date, but unfortunately I just got my period!!!!!! Does anyone know of a way to shorten periods? Medication perhaps? or has anyone used the "instead" feminine protection cups? I hear you can have sex with them, but are they noticeable? will he be able to tell I have one in place?? Some help needed please!!!

Tell him he'll have to wait an extra week. This is actually a good test, as you will see if he's just looking for sex.

You can shorten/skip your period with birth control but you're past that option. But in the future, it would be a good idea sine you're sexually active anyways.

I haven't used the protection cups but I'm not sure I'd trust that.
