Why do SOME men only want to have sex with women, but not a relationship with them?

I know a guy who says he's too busy with work and allto have a relationship with a girl, but he just wants to be lovers with her. Why? I know people are busy, but then, how do they make time to be lovers? Why doSOME men like to use women for sex but NOT want a committed, maningful relationship with them, especially in the west? It happens all over, but I see it slightly more in the west. Why do men do this, and why more here in the west?

-Probably they have been hurt by being in a relationship once before.
-He hasn't had those feelings for anyone yet, so just physical stuff.
-Because women want him (lets say, hes hot and women usually flirt with him and like him, so its easier for him to get sex from lots of women since women find him hot/cute whatever)
-Love hurts, and men dont want to be vulnerable, once we say we love you, we are basically making ourselves vulnerable, because we openned up to you and you found a weakness.
-Commitments, responsibillities
-In a relationship its quite easy for the guy to do something wrong, and he has to make it up to her. for eg if you dont call one day. Or your late. Forgot anniversary, some guys are selfish and just dont want to deal with your emotional baggage that comes with you.
